Me & You Too (MY2) Family Literacy Program

Me & You Too (MY2)  is a multi-generational family literacy program that uses literacy-based activities and trauma-sensitive approaches to narrow the academic achievement gap. It has been found that early childhood learning coupled with healthy parent-child interaction is critical to closing the gaps in academic performance; the earlier these experiences, the better. 

There is consistent evidence that a parent's education can predict children's educational outcomes. That's why supporting parents is also important. When parents build their literacy/learning, children are more likely to do well academically and in life, this in turn helps in narrowing the academic achievement gap.

The MY2 program consists of four interconnecting components that all play an integral role in making this program a success.
